Stumbled into this brilliant work.
They are Brazilian. I'm guessing this is their start. But what a start!!!
Absolutely amazing album.

Metal fans can for sure say that 2015 has been great so far. Great albums from metal titans has been released this year. In this context "Under the Red Cloud" will for sure fight for the metal album of the year.

Machine Head's new album Bloodstone & Diamonds Review

As a fan, the expectations over this new album were huge. In my first hearing I could not hide some sort of disappointment. Their previous album "Unto the Locust" was in my opinion a complete album. With hidden top song waiting to be discovered like "Be Still and Know", "Darkness within", "I am hell".
Well... now about this new one...
I have introduced this new album "Bloodstone & Diamonds" on August'14. (view post). In this first post about this new album we could listen to Killers & Kings. In September'14 the song "Now we Die" was revealed (view post). Near the release date we could listen to "Knight with long Knives". (view post).

So what else is there more to show? I can tell you what not to show. Track 11 is called "Imaginal Cells". I'm sorry to say this comes out as a most annoying TV news show. It's that kind of track leaving us to move forward or to simply stop the album play. I surely already understood that Robb Flynn likes to talk... but this ...is just crap. (sorry dude... just shut the f**k up and sing)

As I write this post I'm hearing once more this album waiting for something great to come out.
The best I can see is "Now we die" and "Knight with long Knives". Maybe something else will show trough time.

War of Ages has released in April a fantastic album called "Return to Life".
With contagious energy coming from voice, guitars and drums, this album is awesome.
The songs are amazingly well done. Fantastic sequencing.

Huntress - Spell Eater Album Review

This girl really knows how to rock.
Pure energy on the voice, nice guitars and drums.
All together makes an amazing album.

Songs like Spell Eater, Eight of Swords, Children among others makes this a good buy.

Moonspell - Alpha Noir & Omega White Review

After the perfect and not easy to exceed "Night Eternal" Moonspell released this April a double album.
Moonspell have named the double cd release with different names for each media ("Alpha Noir" & "Omega White"). And as you listen to the albums it is perfectly clear why they have chosen to do so.
"Alpha Noir" has powerful and heavy songs. "Omega White" is soft and smooth.

If I had to choose one of the CD, I would choose "Alpa Noir". The masses would certainly prefer "Omega White".


"Alpha Noir"
1 - Axis Mundi - good intro. Will certainly be used as intro for concerts.
2 - Lickanthrope - see video on this post Lickanthrope Video.
3 - Versus - Heavy song!! Will certainly be amazing live.
4 - Alpha Noir - Another song to see the crowd explode in a concert.
5 - Em Nome do Medo - Amazing Song with lyrics in Portuguese. See my translation.
6 - Opera Carne - "Our flesh burns in mysterious ways" Fantastic!!!
7 - Love is Blasphemy - Another song I will like to see live.
8 - Grandstand - "What doesn't kill, hurts us!"
9 - Sine Missione - Good dark closing for the album.

"Omega White"
1 - White Omega - the beginning of a dream.
2 - White Skies - see the video teaser.
3 - Fireseason - good smooth voice on a dream song. 
4 - New Tears Eve - another set of good sound.
5 - Herodisiac - another song to dream. Good chorus of voices.
6 - Incantatrix - smooth and soft.
7 - Sacrificial - Amazing Song.
8 - A Greater Darkness - the end of the dream.

Moonspell - "Night Eternal" Album Review

While we patiently wait for "Alpha Noir" and "Omega White" here is a review of the album "Night Eternal" released in 2008.
This album is, in a word, PERFECT!!
Absolutely amazing set of songs with everything a metal fan wants.
1 - "At Tragic Heights" a sinister and powerful entry used many times as intro for concerts.
2 - "Night Eternal" an perfect heavy song.
3 - "Shadow Sun" a mystic song with an explosion of darkness.
4 - "Scorpion Flower" with special participation of Anneke van Giersbergen is an epic song. The absolute beauty in darkness.
5 - "Moon in Mercury"  more heavy perfection.
6 - "Here is the Twilight" a song to enjoy and dream.
7 - "Dreamless" a more smooth song. This song has been played some times in an unplugged version.
8 - "Spring of Rage" good explosions of rage
9 - "First Light" - Absolute perfect song. Could be heard in many concerts. Another sample of beauty in darkness with the use of feminine vocals.

After the fantastic "Blackening", Machine Head has presented us with the Album "Unto the Locust".
You can find in it splendid songs like:
