Septicflesh + Moonspell Concert Night

Yesterday was concert night at Oporto's Hard Club to see Septicflesh and Moonspell.

Septicflesh was a pleasant surprise. The power of the amazing album "Titan" was there alive. Fabulous sound and environment. Great job guys....Hope to see you soon again. 

But it was Moonspell night for road to extinction tour. Amazing 2 hour concert with ups and downs.
Extinct was played almost totally. Except for "la baphomete" which isn't quite what a Moonspell fan expects. From Extinct they played Breathe as the opening song followed by Extinct. Also played Medusalem which in my opinion is not a song to play live. It kind of looses all the atmosphere in stage. Still from Extinct Moonspell played Domina, The Last of Us, Funeral Bloom, A Dying Breed and the future is dark. All this left the crowd with less time for the classic songs. From Alha Noir only Night Ethernal and Em Nome do Medo was played. From Wolfheart the highlight was Alma Mater added with a couple of other surprises. From Irreligious Awake, Opium and Fullmoon Madness. A great night. But focus on Extinct left us missing Nocturna, Everything Invaded and much more.

Moonspell has provided us a little byte on their new album "Extinct".
They have presented this new song called "Last of Us" to be played for the first time in a portuguese radio station.

Moonspell's new album cover for their new album "Extinct" was revealed.
The designer was the same of  "Alpha Noir". So it has the same baseline.

Moonspell new album name revealed

Moonspell has revealed the new album title. It will be called "Extinct" and the release date will be 15th March.

As a result their schedule for that date surrounding the release date is full booked. Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and UK. A full European tour.

It will be a painful 6 months waiting.....
But will sure compensate.

Moonspell @ Studios Recording New Album

Moonspell are currently at Inferno (Hell) Studios recording their new album. Details such as release date, name, album artwork or content are currently not available. But I believe it will be available at the beginning of 2015. The previous Album Alpha Noir & Omega White was released in 2012. The last 3 years were spend on the road with great live shows.
It is always time for big expectations for the fans.

Moonspell on the Road

6th of August was another night to remember. A fresh summer night to be heated by this fabulous sound.
It was the night for me to view live for the 4th time the almighty MOONSPELL.
Once again I experienced the explosive energy they inspire to all fans.
An amazing night with all the hits a Moonspell fan can expect.
At the end of concert there was certainly no unsatisfied Moonspell fan.
Thanks MOONSPELL.
